Greensboro-based The Fresh Market Inc. is expanding its offerings at all five Jacksonville locations beginning Aug. 16.
As part of the refresh, an interactive sampling station will debut, designed to inspire guests to try new items. Events commemorating the experience will run from Aug. 16 to Aug. 20.
Additions to the stores include expanded breakfast options, a sampling station for “Little Big Meal” dishes, baby essentials from Plum Organics, a new Mind & Body section featuring holistic items such as protein, vitamins, probiotics and facial care, aisles specifically labeled to guide guests with dietary restrictions and the addition of pet food and products.
The first Fresh Market in Jacksonville opened in Riverside in Sept. 2014. Since then, four more have joined the ranks: a Harbour Village store at 13493 Atlantic Blvd., a Julington Creek location at 12795 San Jose Blvd., a Ponte Vedra location at 840 A1A North, and a brand-new Fleming Island location at 1960 East West Parkway, which opened on June 14.
According to permits, over $100,000 of work is being done at the Harbour Village and Julington Creek stores to reconfigure shelving and lighting and install new receptacles and circuits.
“The refresh of our Jacksonville-area stores helps redefine the shopping experience for our guests,” said Brian Nicholson, interim chief executive officer of The Fresh Market in a release. “A commitment to fresh has always been a priority, and our guests’ love of food remains at the heart of what we do.”
